Directions to Fingle Glen Golf Hotel  (Tel Number of the Hotel     01647 61817)

From the A 30 going West

Fingle Glen is marked on the map to the right of the blue flag just east of Tedburn St. Mary, and about half-a-mile off the new dual-carriageway A-30.

Unfortunately the exit from the west-bound carriageway which led directly to it (shown above and which required you to cross the east-bound one) has been closed for safety reasons, and so from the Exeter direction the old roads have to be taken.

Take the A.30 Okehampton exit off the M.5/A.38 and follow for just under two miles to the first exit - marked Exeter, Ide and the A-377.  On the exit roundabout, take the first left signposted Ide to pick up the OLD A-30 – the white road on the map.   This soon crosses under the new dual carriageway and follows parallel just north of it.  At the T junction, turn left. After 400 ft and over a small bridge turn right onto the Tedburn Road.

After about 5 miles you pass the Pathfinder Village on the right, and Fingle Glen is signposted about half a mile further on.

Directions from the A30 going East

There is a turn off left (quite sharp) signposted to the Fingle Glen and Pathfinder Village. At the roundabout turn right and the Fingle Glen is a few hundred yards on your left

The hotel looks like a Green corrugated iron shack on the outside….plenty of parking on gravel…go down a few steps to the Entrance.

Coffee will be available to purchase in the bar (£1.10) This is straight ahead from the entrance.
