This takes the form of a study day at the Phoenix Hall, Bovey Tracey on 11 March 2010, starting with coffee at 10:30 am.
The morning speaker will br Michael Tisdall, on 'Sex in church, Sheela-na-Gigs and other matters' which sounds intriguing.
After lunch, Jonathan Weekes will give a demonstration entitled 'A Blast from the Past' in which he will talk about and perform on a variety of woodwind instruments that would have been played in many of the churches we record.
The cost including coffee is £10. There are ample local facilities for luch or you may bring your own.
