Young People's Arts Awards
Arts Council England and DCMS launched a new Young People's Arts Awards Scheme in November which will roll out regionally in England during 2006. The Arts Award is the first accredited youth arts scheme that recognises the development of young artists and arts leaders. It will give thousands of young people the chance to enjoy the arts, build their skills and lead projects in the community. The young people's Arts Award is available to teenagers from diverse backgrounds across the country. See http://www.artsaward.org.uk/ for more details
