.....since 1973, groups of nadfas members have been recording the contents of churches throughout the U K.
..... written, drawn and photographic records are made of memorials, stained glass, church plate and metalwork, stonework, woodwork, textiles, musical instruments & bells .
..... 5 copies of each record are produced and given to the care of certain specific authorities, including the Victoria & Albert Museum and the National Monuments Record Centre (the public archive of English Heritage)
.....church recording is an important part of nadfas; those who take part find it fascinating, challenging and very rewarding.
