south west area heritage volunteers STOP PRESS.....new Parks & Gardens Data Partnership ....training is given to volunteers who are nadfas members who enjoy working as part of a team and who have enthusiasm and commitment.
....projects take place in local and national museums, galleries and libraries, in historic houses and gardens, public record offices, cathedrals and parish churches.
....such as stabilising, repairing and cleaning ancient library books, repairing historic needlework, making covers for winter storage of artefacts.... these are just some of the projects taking place in the South West. . ...all heritage volunteers donate time and skills to help nadfas aims...'preserve and promote access to our national artistic heritage for the benefit of the public.' . ...nadfas also work in partnership with other heritage organisations and volunteers to provide an invaluable specialist resource, in conservation and knowledge.
