SW Area Project 2006 Robert Cordingley a young SW artist, receives a cheque of £200 to help with his studies from the Area Young Arts representative Anita St John Gray nadfas is enthusiastic in its aim to encourage young people to become interested in the arts, together with promoting awareness of our arts heritage and it’s conservation.

groups or young arts projects.
...young arts groups are junior societies with members aged 8 to 18.
...young arts projects are arts related activities for an individual, or a number of young people, organised and/or funded by each area and/or individual societies.
....projects are organised according to local circumstances, and the format varies according to local opportunities and needs, and the funding available.
....involvement may be
anything from sponsorship to organising major arts
events. Projects generally take place in schools, museums and galleries,
and may be run in partnership with LEA or local arts organisations
working with the young.
Greta Berlin's sculpture "The Fiddler" displayed at the Quartz Visual Arts Festival arranged in October 2005 at Queen's College Taunton.
